FinTech Legal Labs Event

FinTech companies looking to participate in the FinTech Legal Labs event are required to be registered with us in advance by completing the registration and application form on this website.

Investors, businesses, banks, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and start-ups in the FinTech industry that participate at our FinTech Legal Labs event to observe the FinTech companies agree and acknowledge that Ashurst does not in any way make recommendation of any investment, joint venture or any commercial transaction in any participating companies at the FinTech Legal Labs event. You acknowledge that we have no special relationship with you, and we do not owe any fiduciary duty to you in connection with FinTech Legal Labs. We do not represent, warrant, covenant, guarantee, or promise any specific results from your attendance at the FinTech Legal Labs event.

In the unlikely occurrence that any of our FinTech Legal Lab events have to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by you as an attendee at the event.

Please note that photographs and footage may be taken at the FinTech Legal Labs event. We may use them for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication. Please contact us if you have any concerns, or if you wish to be exempted from this.

We do not accept responsibility and expressly excludes liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for:

  • any loss or damage to any personal property left unattended during the FinTech Legal Labs event; or
  • death or any personal injury suffered by you at the FinTech Legal Labs event.

We will review all registration and application forms and may discuss internally the profiles of the applicants for the purpose of finalising the list of participating FinTech companies to be admitted to the FinTech Legal Labs programme. Please note that you should not disclose any information which you consider as confidential in your registration and application form. Acceptance of a FinTech company in the FinTech Legal Labs programme is in the sole discretion of Ashurst.

There will be opportunities for the participating FinTech companies to present about their business to other participants at the FinTech Legal Labs, including but not limited to our partnering organisations. Please note that all the information shared at the presentations will not be kept confidential, and you should refrain from disclosing any information you may consider to be confidential in your presentations. You will be required to make such a presentation of your FinTech company to our partners and guests at FinTech Legal Labs.

We will take appropriate measures to keep your personal data included in all registration and application forms submitted confidential and secure. Kindly note, however, that we cannot guarantee the full security of your information, and we shall not be liable for any system violations or interception of our transmission. Please refer to the Privacy Notice (referred to below) for further details.

Participants at the FinTech Legal Labs event should be 18 years old or above.

User rights and intellectual property rights
